The Bloodsugars On WOXY & NPR
Goodness, two of my favorite radio stations both featuring The Bloodsugars on the same day?
The boys played a 5 song set on WOXY which can be downloaded for free in it's entirety by right-clicking here.
NPR featured 'Purpose Was Again' and reviewed the BQEP. An excerpt below.
The Bloodsugars's sound is either a descendant of the best aspects of '80s synth rockers, or the offspring of trance and power pop. The Brookyln-based foursome takes radio-ready melodies and power chord guitar rock and blends them with dance floor beats, keyboards, and synths. The group's debut EP, BQEP, rides on the neon glow of six, tightly wound pop songs riddled with catchy hooks. Full write up here.
