The guys kicked off their October tour over the weekend playing a SOLD OUT show at Iota in Arlington, VA. Thanks to everyone who came and made it a huge success!! You’ll be able to catch them the rest of the month playing dates all over the East coast and Midwest, wrapping up the tour in New York City with a string of shows during CMJ! Engine Room’s love affair with DC I guess wasn’t over after we signed U.S. Royalty, as now we’re very proud to welcome DC’s Middle Distance Runner to the family. We’ve been following this 5-piece for quite sometime and after hearing their follow up to 2006′s “Plane in Flames” we knew this was something special and had to get involved. The album is titled “The Sun & Earth” and will be released on October 20th…but you don’t have to wait until then to hear the songs, we’ll be streaming the album right from this site very soon. And you can also hear them live as the guys are heading off on their first National tour on August 4th, stops include dates in Pittsburgh, Chicago, Denver and LA’s famed Viper Room (complete list below)
