Everyone’s favorite booking agency Green Room Music Source descends on CMJ this year with not 1 but 3 shows.  The Bloodsugars and Robbers On High Street join the party on Thursday night at Cameo Gallery in Williamsburg with a great lineup that also includes Pearl and The Beard, Neutral Uke Hotel and others.  For the complete schedule please see the flyer below.

Robbers On High Street hit the road next week for a few dates along the East Coast.  They’ll be joined by West Coasters Voxhaul Broadcast who are on a national tour in anticipation of their Nov. 2nd debut release Timing Is Everything, download the first single “Leaving on the 5th” for free here.

Sept 7th – Black Cat (Backstage) – Washington, DC
Sept 9th – The 201 – Providence, RI
Sept 10th – Cousin Larry’s (Sub Rosa Party) – Danbury, CT
Sept 11th – The Rock Shop – Brooklyn, NY

And tonight tune into David Letterman to see our friends, and Guilt By Association Vol 2 featured artist, Jukebox The Ghost perform “Schizophrenia” off of their new album Everything Under The Sun (yep roc) due out Sept 7th.  Congrats guys!!

As seen in today’s AMNY (see below), at 10:30pm tonight (July 21st) Robbers On High Street will take the stage at the legendary Mercury Lounge in NYC’s Lower East Side. Playing right before is Hymns, who we just saw play a great set opening for Tracy Bonham’s CD release show at Joe’s Pub. The show is 21+ and tickets are $10. And WNYC previewed the show too and posted a free download which you can check out here.

News :: New Release: Robbers On High Street’s “Electric Eye”

We’re very excited to be able to announce the new single “Electric Eye” by Robbers On High Street!  It is available starting today on limited edition 7″ vinyl, and then on June 22nd the single will be available on iTunes and everywhere digital music is sold.  The A side is “Electric Eye” with equally catchy “Face In The Fog” found on the B side.  To Listen and purchase the 7″ please go here.  The vinyl also comes with a download card to get the mp3′s.

In support of the release the guys are embarking on a mini-tour of the Northeast stopping in Philly, DC, Boston and includes a hometown show at The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn this Saturday.  All dates are with Engine Room’s The Bloodsugars plus Israel Darling joining the bill for the Brooklyn and Boston shows.

We’re lucky to be celebrating this record twice at two of the best venues in the City!

The first one is at Music Hall of Williamsburg (see the beautiful flyer below that was hand painted by Engine Room’s own Joyce Chan) on Saturday January 31st. The night features Robbers On High Street, Jukebox The Ghost, Takka Takka and Lowry. Plus we have some prizes to hand out and free chocolates courtesy of Brooklyn’s own The Mast Brothers (while supplies last)

Then on Thursday February 5th we are at Bowery Ballroom with Francis and the Lights, Savoir Adore and The Bloodsugars!
